Ticketmaster: Don't buy our tickets

TicketMaster has a monopoly on concert tickets in the Netherlands. So if you want to go to any concert you’ll have to buy the tickets from Ticketmaster. They sell the tickets online and at the post offices.

A couple of months ago they redesigned their website. The old site gave you a complete list of all concerts, alphabetically sorted. You could scroll fast past all band names and scan if there was something you liked. And because it was alphabetically sorted this didn’t take a lot of mental effort (you didn’t have to read every single bandname).

The new site gives you 30 concerts per page, sorted by date, starting with the most recent. You can’t order on bandname, reverse the ordering or jump to other pages (except the next or the previous page).

So now you first see the concerts that are most likely sold out. And to view all the newest concerts you have to look at more than 20 pages (and wait for loading). Nobody is going to do this.

And while I’m at it: a syndicated feed would also be nice.
